THE GLASTONBURY CONSPIRACY.

The timeline of official English History as we know it today and are taught in our schools goes back to the famous date of 1066 when the Norman William the Conquerer invaded the land of Britain and defeated the Anglo Saxon King Harold in the Battle of Hastings.

All history prior to this has become shrouded in legends and half truths giving us the impression of a troubled land divided by competing factions of Anglo Saxons, Celts and Vikings etc. Whilst there may be some degree of truth in these legends and stories it is also very interesting for us to discover the roots of the tales and legends that we have received and which are taken, often, as common knowledge and part of the mythological basis of our identity as "Englanders"

The small Somerset town of Glastonbury is one place that takes an important role in the myths and legends of ancient Britain and what later has become "England." The myths that are most commonly associated with Glastonbury are very central to the founding myths of the country of England itself as they pertain to aspects of Royalty and Religion that make up the foundation stones of our identity as a people.

Firstly we have the story that Glastonbury was visited, some few years after the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ in the land of Palestine, by Joseph of Arimathea who was variously purported to be the Uncle of Christ himself, or a Roman Centurion who had lent Christ his tomb and witnessed the resurrection; he was also said to be present in the moment of Christ’s death on the cross and with the cup used at the last supper ready to catch the holy blood and so the legend has it, after that he travelled through Europe until he reached Britain and Glastonbury where he put his dry staff into the ground and saw it sprout into a thorn tree that flowered thereafter always on Christmas day. It is said in these legends that at the site of what became Glastonbury Abbey, Joseph and his disciples erected the first Church in Britain or even in Europe itself and that it was a church made of wattle and daub, sanctified and holy like no other place in Western Christendom.

So say the legends, although no doubt there are many other places in Europe that would claim to be able to rival this and other legends. The truth of the matter is of course difficult to ascertain as many centuries have passed and story has been placed upon story - Indeed stories have been changed and altered constantly and any reasonable investigation can discover many motives for the different legends.

The second great legend about Glastonbury is, of course, the Arthurian legend and the status that Glastonbury and its remarkable Tor holds within the landscape of the Arthurian Myth Cycle. That these myths and legends are rooted in certain arcane and magical traditions that have a reality from ancient times, there is little doubt to anyone that has taken the time to study and absorb them not only in a literal sense but also in the more mystical sense. This is not something that here we will set out to dispute, however it is also pertinent in these studies to take a cold eyed look at the way that the legends have been and are manipulated with certain ends in mind. The magical and the mysterious by its very nature can be moulded to create different impressions and directions for people and their identity and culture. Nowadays some people call this "Culture Creation" and as we shall see, in many ways, Glastonbury has been at the centre of a whole series of culture creations.

As relatively recent research by Alan Wilson and Baram Blackett has shown, there is very good reason and much evidence to suggest that the true Arthur, or Arthurs more likely, had their adventures and their battles much more in the direction of Glamorgan and South Wales rather than Glastonbury in Somerset but for reasons of a more political nature the whole mythos was moved and created around Glastonbury for reasons that had to do with the consolidation of Norman rule and the creation of historical precedents that could be used as propaganda tools in order to give a mythological backing that would justify Norman Kingship.

It was thus, that the chief artifice of the relocation and Anglicization of Arthur was Henry II, grandson of William the Conquerer who saw and understood the purpose of the ritualization and the enshrining of Glastonbury as the place of Arthur's burial, which with his blessing and participation would lend him creadance as a "true Brit" interested in his kingdom and its history and also so that he would be seen as one who was continuing, even reviving older traditions inherent to the land itself. Thus the early Norman monarchs, not only Henry II but also Edward I, went to great lengths to give publicity sanction the medieval versions of the Arthurian myth (created mainly in France) and to be seen to be carrying them on, thus they also created different chivalric orders such as the Knights of the Garter, an order that continues to this day, and around them erected different symbolic ties that would associate them with the Arthurian Knightly ethos and values thus giving the English Crown a certain sacred sheen and dressing.

The First Logos...

It is no co-incidence that nowadays a symbol used to brand a product, a company, a sports team or political party is called a LOGO. The logo has become synonymous with the brand and in the artistry of its design the logo can say many things to us on both a conscious and, very importantly, a sub-conscious level. The reason that the logo is so important nowadays is because of the fact that in an age of information some things are better communicated subliminally and those that work in advertising and public relations understand well the power of the logo.
The LOGOS in esoteric terms is of course THE VERB... It is a creative and a magical force and in more ancient times we can see that the source of the logo is in the totem. A tribal totem is a logo that tells a story, symbolizes a certain quality or attribute etc. From the tribal totems we move to the art of heraldry that was so important in medieval times as a way to show very simply and effectively the family or allegiance of any particular group of people and at the same time as a way to conjure up feelings perhaps of respect and loyalty for those aligned to the particular heraldic symbol, or fear and respect from any adversary.
The use of these kinds of symbols and the parading of them throughout different ages has long been known to have a powerful effect on the human mind, and indeed, heart. Thus it was that the Normans, who understood these mechanisms, perhaps not scientifically but certainly in a practical manner. They understood well the need to work the magical and mythological realms of the human mind in order to be able to enter the psyche of the British public and in this way justify their rule over the masses.
It was with this in mind that Henry II gave his Royal approval to the Arthurian myth as an ENGLISH myth, thus stealing it from the Welsh speaking Celtic tribes and enshrining this myth as part of the establishment. Initially the English monarchs were aligned with the Catholic Church and this religious institution, as a continuation of the Roman Empire also made free use of the Glastonbury legends as a way of  gaining the allegiance of the people to the church as an institution. They made much of the idea that Glastonbury was the seat of Christianity in England and this was their justification for continued and expanded appropriation of the ancestral lands of the old Celtic tribes such as the ¨Durotriges¨ which was the tribe that had the lands of Glastonbury within its tribal territory. The Church literally took over and appropriated the myths in order to consolidate power in tandem with the political power of the Norman Monarchy. All of that was curtailed by Henry VIII when he instigated the separation of the English Royalty from Rome with the formation of the Church of England which in its turn then tried to re-appropriate the Arthurian Myth and the Early Church myth as something purely English. All these institutions of Church and Royalty in their different guises have always fought over the ownership of the legends which were in origin more a manifestation of a fundamentally Celtic Spirit.
The true origins of these legends is much more ancient than church or monarchy but even after the power of the church and the monarchy apparently waned, the English aristocratic classes were well aware of their power and once more used these legends in more recent times when the Glastonbury myth was revived by the Victorian occultists such as Dion Fortune. These occultists were all off shoots of the aristocracy and they re-formed the myths in order to give them a New Age slant, thus ushering in a further development of culture creation, adapting the ancient totems and symbols for the modern punter to have something new to believe in.
For some strange reason Glastonbury has, therefore continued to be an important place in which a whole set of assumptions and mechanisms for social conditioning are incubated and disseminated into the culture at large. Rarely, if ever, are the real reasons for all of this manipulation revealed.

Glastonbury in the modern age has become the centre of the New Age movement, not only in Britain but in the world at large and the famous Glastonbury Festival which takes place within view of the Tor, was instigated by people close to the aristocratic and criminal Churchill family. What are we to make of the fact that this emblem of the alternative and new age hippie movement with all its active sanctioning of uncontrolled drug abuse was funded and promoted by elements of the English establishment?
The "Glastonbury Fair" of 1971 was instigated by Andrew Kerr, personal assistant to Randolph Churchill, Sir Winston Churchill's son and Arabella Churchill, daughter of Randolph. Indeed the involvement of the English establishment in the development of the hippie movement goes far beyond the Glastonbury Festival and reaches back to the time of the infamous black magician and spy Aleister Crowley who was very much the instigator and inspiration for many figures that, during the twentieth century, helped to develop the psychological exercise of culture creation. One of the most notable of these figures was Aldous Huxley author of “Brave New World” which can be seen as a model for all that is going on now.
Many of the rock bands of the sixties and seventies that were at the forefront of the hippie movement such as The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin were inspired in particular by Crowley and made subtle and not so subtle references to the fact on album covers and in some of their songs. Huxley, grandson of Thomas Huxley who was known for his involvement with Charles Darwin, was also very instrumental as one of the first promotors of the use of psychedelic drugs. Aldous Huxley was also a key establishment figure who worked for the MI6 and the CIA developing projects such as MK-Ultra and acting as a pseudo rebel whose real aim was to introduce the fashion for sex and drugs and rock and roll thus leading the youth into a culture of degeneration and ultimately the scourge of gender ideology. In the town of Glastonbury with is New Age and Occultist book shops, one can find many books that give creadence to people such as Huxley and Crowley, enshrining them as modern day heroes of the “cultural revolution.”
Of course they are not the only ones involved and there are many other personalities that have played a part in this distortion of the true message of the mystical and esoteric but all has been soiled in the mix and it takes time and patience in order to unravel and to discover the nuggets of truth within so much mythology and speculation.
It is interesting to pick up on the thread that runs through the centuries with regard to the particular role of Glastonbury and it is all related to the aristocracy and the machinations of the monarchy and the British Establishment since Norman times. It is notable that Henry II was also involved in esoteric matters and he had, almost beyond doubt, a connection to the Knights Templar. Throughout this shadowy trail through history and myth one finds mixed together in the stories about the Knights Templar, in the creation of the Arthurian Romances etc. elements of a true mysticism and genuine esoteric teachings and, at the same time, a more sinister and darker element. This darker side is what comes most to the fore and is most talked about. All mention of The Occult or Esoteric has been tainted by the veiled actions of people that have been involved in a centuries long conspiracy to control the minds and feelings of the populations in general. It would see to be no coincidence that Glastonbury was chosen as the central point of the myth that was taken advantage of by Henry II and his lineage in order to legitimize his rule, for long before the construction of the emblematic church tower that sits to this day on top of Glastonbury Tor, it was a place of magic and mystery for the older “celtic” tribes and home of The King of The Faeries, Gwyn Ap Nudd. Speaking in shamanic terms we can say that the King of the Faeries is like to say the King of the elemental spirits of the land and as such this makes it a place of a spiritual energy that any King of this world, especially if he was versed in esoteric matters, would naturally be inclined to use for his own ends, appropriating such spiritual power for his dynasty. Since then Glastonbury has remained a place of importance for those royal elites especially seeing as, it was also rumored to be the first place in Britain that the christian church became established and where the first church was built.

Henry II had also, as one of his seats of power, the palace that he had built at Woodstock in Oxfordshire on the site of another ancient place of worship in the world of the Old religion of Britain which was shamanistic. Woodstock later became the seat of the Duke of Marlborough and the Churchill family. Co-incidence?

Did the Norman Kings and the British Establishment appropriate and use ancient places of power and connection to the land in order to advance their agenda? Have they used secret knowledge and esoteric teachings in order to make “gold” from the base metals? Certainly esoteric wisdom and alchemical secrets have been used down the centuries, more often to enslave rather than to liberate and the British establishment is up to its neck in such matters.
It is no coincidence that the court magician and spy for Queen Elizabeth I, John Dee was an alchemist and became obsessed with the search for the Philosophers Stone. This search led him to dabble in many magical operations along with his sidekick Edward Kelly and they combined their search for alchemical secrets with spying missions on behalf of their Queen as Britain took ever greater steps in the creation of Empire. If they didn’t manage to create gold from base metals in the literal sense they certainly managed to “create “gold,” i.e. material power and wealth, by gleaning from their hosts in different countries, political and State secrets and so it continues to this day. England is one of the most important centres for the power elites of the world as a financial centre and the national flag is based on the Templar flag. The Knights Templar created the modern banking system and in one way or another the material aspect of their power was appropriated and has been used with great success as a basis for our modern day world system. Perhaps the authentic Knights Templars, those who had a real spiritual focus, didn’t envisage that their Order would have such a long lasting influence and be used by the World Elites to sinister ends but we cannot avoid the fact that this is the case.

Nowadays we can affirm that in Glastonbury there is a huge mix of many elements that make up the current culture of degeneration, gender ideology, feminism, new age fashion and so on. We also know that in the Glastonbury area there are many occult and magical groups of all colors and persuations; neopagans, channelers, psychedelic gurus, pseudo shamans, magicians, witches, wizards, healers and so on that realize, almost weekly, their rituals protecting outwards into the culture as a whole their influences. Could it be possible that they are using the undoubted mystical and magical power within the land around Glastonbury in order to further their agendas. It would seem so but are the true spirits of the land happy about this when those agendas are a distortion of the true magic within the land and also a distortion of the natural laws of nature?

In truth Nature has her laws and ignorance of those laws does not mean that they will not be fulfilled. The consistent abuse of such forces and powers of the land has its consequence and the spirits of the land do not ignore what is happening. England has made much karma for itself for all that it has done and for the way in which the true magic and mystery of the ancient land of Albion has been abused and used in order to contribute to the centuries long protect of world domination that has reached its end time in these days. Those spirits have served their notice. Those spirits have said to us that the time is near in which they will overturn this abuse. Will anyone listen?

The ancient rites of the Celtic Druids say that the land and the people are one, we are part of the land and the Sacred Lands of Glastonbury, The Isle of Avalon have been profaned enough.
